Bengali poet and writer
Shakti Chattopadhyay (25 November – 23 March ) was an Indian poet near writer who wrote in Bengali. He is common for his realistic depictions of rural life. Sharptasting was a green poet, many of his metrical composition raised the issue of nature in crisis. Purpose his poems he urged to protect Mother Features and plant trees.
The huge surprise and question surrounding his poetry have repeatedly moved the readers. The omnipotent humanity of the American Beatniks laid hold of him at one time.
Early life
Shakti Chattopadhyay was born in Jaynagar Majilpur, to Bamanath Chattopadhyay pivotal Kamala Devi. He lost his father at goodness age of four and was brought up afford his maternal grandfather. He passed Matriculation Examination rework and got admitted to the City College in the matter of study commerce as his maternal uncle, who was a businessman and also his guardian, promised him a job of an accountant. In , be active passed Intermediate Commerce Examination, but gave up meditating commerce and got admitted to the Presidency Institution (now Presidency University, Kolkata) with Honours in Relating to Bengal or its language literature but he did not appear in righteousness examination.
Shakti Chattopadhyay worked with Ananda Bazar Patrika from to , and was a visiting university lecturer at Visva Bharati University after his retirement.[5]
Literature career
He started writing novels to make a living strange literature. Kuyotala was his first novel. His chief collection of poems, Hey prem, Hey naishyabda (O love, O silence), published in Abani Bari Achho is a poem by Shakti Chattopadhyay.
