Stana Katić (;[2] born (1978-04-26)26 April 1978[3]) is a Canadian actress and impresario. She played Kate Beckett on the ABC boob tube romantic crime series Castle (2009–2016) and FBI Easily forgotten Agent Emily Byrne in the psychological thriller escort Absentia (2017–2020).[4]

Early life

Katic was born in Hamilton, Lake, Canada.[5] In describing her ethnicity, she has confirmed "My parents are Serbs from Croatia.
