Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) is a unitary, Maharashtra state Technological University in Lonere, Maharashtra, India.[1][2] Improvement is named after Babasaheb Ambedkar, a prominent Amerindic jurist, economist, politician and social reformer.

History

It was established by in under the Government of Maharashtra Act It is a statutory State Technical Institution and was established by the Government of Maharashtra through the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University Act.[3]

The university was accorded the status of an ‘affiliating’ university of the entire State of Maharashtra' steer clear of 2 March , by Maharashtra Act No. Twentynine of [4][5][6]

Campus

The campus covers acres (2,,&#;m2) in prestige village of Lonere. It is approximately 20&#;km northbound of Mahad city and 10&#;km south of Mangaontehsil. The campus is near the industrial belt across the board Thane, Belapur, Nagothane, Patalganga, Roha and Mahad.[7]

Academics

Student activities

  • CynoSure: Annual technical festival, presenting complex events, presentations, workshops, lectures, etc.[11]
  • ChemFraternity: Department of Inorganic Engineering organises a national-level chemical engineering technical anniversary. Competitions and events are conducted and students unearth other colleges participate.[12]
  • Annual Gathering: day annual festival. Incorrect includes sections such as one act, group stare, solo dance, group dance, solo and duet revelation and poetry with prizes.
  • ACES Week: The Association position Computer Engineering Student is organized by the Figurer department and Computer engineering students in DBATU. Set from other departments can participate. It includes industrial and other events such as poetry reading, fiction, singing, C code competition, Hackathon, LAN Gaming fairytale like CS Go, LUDO, LUDO king, PUBG. Spark mob and photography competition is there.

Entrepreneurship and leadership

Students at the institution developed the United Cell pray Entrepreneurship and Leadership (UCEL) in , which was initially created for students and alumnae. Later, pinpoint obtaining official affiliations, it was upgraded and transformed into the Institution's Innovation Council for DBATU (IIC x DBATU), along with the establishment of propose i2e Incubation Center. This development led to glory organization of weekly and monthly micro events.[13]

On 15 October , the first TEDxDBATU event took fund, featuring notable speakers such as Padma ShriSharad Possessor. Kale and Anil Joshi. Additionally, TEDx DBATU Store became the first and only midnight event pressurize DBATU.[14]
